Release Date: 2025-05-9

Version 8.10.0 introduces a new set of powerful features across our icastEvent and icastGo platforms. These enhancements provide greater flexibility, simplify user experience, and support the growing needs of hybrid events and enterprise-grade security.

What’s New in icastEvent

Conditional Fields in Registration Forms

Forms in icastEvent now support conditional logic. Based on user selections (dropdown, radio button, or checkbox), additional fields can appear dynamically.
This allows for more personalized and efficient registration flows based on:

  • Participation mode (in-person vs. virtual)
  • Business unit or attendee type
  • Custom logic tailored to your event

Multiple Email Invitation Templates with Language Management

Organizers can now create multiple email invitation templates per event, with improved preview capabilities and support for translations.
During bulk or individual sends, the system automatically detects and uses the participant’s preferred language—ensuring accurate and localized communications.

Persistent Header Message in Schedule

A new option allows organizers to pin a message at the top of the event schedule. This message remains visible every day, making it ideal for important updates, reminders, or instructions.

Speaker Label Filtering

Labels can now be applied to speakers, allowing participants to only see speakers relevant to their access level. This improves clarity and reduces information overload for attendees.

Enhanced Third-Party Integration Parameters

Additional participant data (such as name, email, and company) can now be passed to third-party tools like Slido or 123FormBuilder.
This enables a seamless experience where authenticated users can access integrated services without re-entering personal information.

Enforced SSO Login

icastEvent now supports mandatory Single Sign-On (SSO) login.
This is particularly useful for enterprise clients who want to ensure all users access the platform through corporate credentials only, avoiding confusion between regular and enterprise logins.

What’s New in icastGo

More Flexible Advanced Voting

The advanced voting module now supports two layout options:

  • All questions on a single scrollable page
  • One question per page (traditional format)

This flexibility meets the varying compliance needs of industries like finance and shareholder services.

Optional Anonymous Questions

Organizers now have the option to allow or disable anonymous questions from participants.
Once enabled by an admin at the organization level, this feature can be toggled on or off per event, letting participants choose whether to submit questions anonymously.
