COVID-19, Business continuity plan

Due to COVID-19 and government announcements regarding the mandatory closure of many places and organizations, Digicast wishes to inform you that it has a continuity plan in the event of a major disruption. Our solutions being in high demand offering our clients and partners the ability to communicate with their employees, customers and partners. Thus, Digicast will remain open. All of our activities will be maintained, and all of our services will continue to be offered to our customers and partners. Rest assured that we will do everything in our power to implement the required actions and minimize the potential impacts.

Above all, we want to assure you that we continue to operate very efficiently.

As always, the safety and health of our employees, customers and partners remain our top priority. To ensure coordinated, consistent and proactive measures in response to demand, Digicast has adopted an approach to communication, incident tracking, reporting and crisis management.

Our pandemic preparedness plan, a key element of our business continuity program, has been deployed. It is based on risk-based protocols to mitigate the impacts for our employees, prevent absenteeism, assess the risks of disruption in service delivery and manage our internal and external communications.

This is why since last week we have:

  • • Implementation of a health plan in the office for all the employees who will work there
  • • Establishment of a succession plan and training of external resources (freelancers)
  • • Remote work for certain employees
  • • Implementation of a supply plan
  • • Implementation of a 24/7 operational plan without interruption

A workforce distribution strategy has been initiated, and we have identified essential employees in our teams to ensure the continuity of our services. This redistribution of the workforce will make us less vulnerable to the repercussions of a regional push and will facilitate ongoing support, while reducing the risk of disruption in our service to clients.

Digicast currently provides ongoing communications to employees and implements recommendations made by public health authorities regarding preventive measures.

We will continue to closely monitor this constantly evolving situation and make any necessary adjustments.
