This certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) confirms Digicast's compliance with this international standard for information security aspects and ensures the sound management of customer data. We are one of the first webcasting experts in North America to obtain this certification.

The process of obtaining the certification 

The process of obtaining ISO 27001 certification for Digicast was an important and rigorous step in ensuring the sound and effective management of its customers' information. Key steps in the process included

  • Risk Analysis: The company had to go through a thorough information security risk analysis to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. This step allowed Digicast to understand the risks to its customers' data and put in place the necessary security measures to protect it.
  • Implementation of appropriate security measures: As a result of the risk analysis, Digicast has implemented appropriate security measures to minimize the identified risks. This includes information security policies and procedures, access controls, regular data backups, business continuity and disaster recovery plans, etc.
  • Development of an Information Security Management System: Digicast has developed an Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure that the security measures implemented are effective and continuously monitored. The challenge

Unlike SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 requires constant monitoring and is not limited to the verification of evidence provided.
